Somali refugee youth face special challenges upon arriving in the United States. Many were born and spent their early years in refugee camps, where they had little or no access to education and many parents don't have the tools to support their children academically. These children are at risk of falling even further behind peers and losing confidence in their abilities. By working with our after-school and SCSC volunteers help fill this gap while empowering the future leaders of our community. Come join our efforts!
