What services do we provide?
SCSC provides an array of social services to our community, including immigration and employment assistance, advocacy, conflict mediation, community outreach and cultural events. We consider education to be our number one priority; we created an after-school tutoring program that has reached over 50 students from the Tukwila School District annually. We also created our Summer Adventures Program to help prevent learning loss and to give our students the opportunity for a summer filled with learning and exploration. We seek to meet the diverse needs of our community through these culturally competent programs.
How can I help?
You can positively affect the lives of refugees by volunteering or making a monetary or in-kind donation. Volunteers provide an invaluable resource to the lives of the Somali Communty.  See the Donation, Volunteer, and Program pages or contact the Somali Community Services Coalition at 206-431-5141 to learn how you can help our beloved community.
